Prospect Park Alliance engages thousands of volunteers annually to help keep Brooklyn’s Backyard green, vibrant and welcoming. Register today to become a volunteer in Prospect Park.

Full vaccination is now required in order to attend volunteer events at Prospect Park. Face coverings (masks) are not required for volunteers during outdoor projects. Volunteers are welcome to wear masks at their discretion.

Summer Spruce Up

Join Prospect Park Alliance for a special summer work session at our Summer Spruce Up volunteer series. Volunteers will assist in tasks such as invasive plant removal, trail maintenance, litter pick up, and other landscaping needs.

Sunset Series

Volunteer with Prospect Park Alliance Tuesday evenings (April–August) in Prospect Park. Help remove invasive plants, pick up litter and mulch across the park.

EcoZone Volunteers
